THE SAGA OF CAMPUS DIVAS FOR RICH MEN. part 2

Hello ghost reader, I hope you are fine today. I have had a somewhat slow start to the day. Anyway all that is in the past now though because am back to doing what i love, writing to you. The viewership so far is encouraging so i will solder on. Today i had promised to continue with the second part of this two part series on 'campus divas for rich men.' if you missed the first part i suggest you read it first before this one.

I remember telling you that these 'campus divas', if i may call them that, gave their reasons as to why they should not be referred to as prostitutes. If you had gone to their Facebook page, the first thing you would have seen on their info is the description they gave of themselves. They said they were just campus divas who were out for a good time. To show men what they had been craving in exchange for their money. can you believe that?! Well, it doesn't end there. They don't care if these men are married. Moreover they claimed that their site was more of a dating site. A site where young men and women could find love. Its now becoming confusing at this part, at least for me. What kind of dating site is this and is it really love that these women were after? Anyway i am here just to give my opinion and not to judge.

Am guessing you are wondering what they meant when they said rich men. Their description of a rich man is that who don't 'eat 'ugali' ya six bob kwa mes'. Those who do are referred to as sufferers. With such a definition, any man who saves around Ksh30 would clearly qualify as rich man right? Hell no. Most of these campus divas are out for the big 'fish'. One of them said he wanted a rich man with a car and really good money for a relationship. Another was specific by stating her man must be earning salaries in the region of ksh200,000 per month or more. At this stage, people like me are clearly out of the 'race'. Those of us who had qualified as rich men according to their description now find that we cannot make it. Not in our wildest dreams. To prove to myself that i qualify, I sent them an inbox. I had indicated in my inbox that i was willing to spent some good money on a one night stand. By good money i meant something in the region of ksh3000, at most. Well your guess is as good as mine. I was declined. Actually to me, that is the only thing that distinguished them from street prostitutes. They charged more. Not even a high class street prostitute in Kenya would charge that much. But then again, maybe that is what they meant when they said they are not to be confused with prostitutes. Technically i cant really say i was declined because i never got a reply. I consoled myself that maybe they were too busy to attend to my needs. Of course any man would tell you that silence meant decline. Why was i kidding myself? maybe because i loath rejection? Perhaps.

BTW these ladies are very bold. They had faced the media, people issuing threats and many more objections to what they were doing. Some claimed they were breaking up families, some said they were increasing immorality in the society and some even went as far as saying these ladies were demonized and that they should repent before GOD declared doom upon them. They linked the situation to that of Sodom and Gomorrah. Well who can blame all these people for their claims against these campus divas? Can you? I certainly think all these claims were justified. However these brave women refuted those claims and even went as far as giving their reasons on their defense. Among those reasons they had given was that of a grown man, over 18, knowing what they wanted and that these men were capable of deciding what they want. Some of these divas who were not shy stated that these men, by 'subscribing' to their 'treat', would get what their wives are not able to offer them.

Well that is the societal view on these campus divas. looks like i will have to write you a bonus episode tomorrow on what these divas claimed and my take on it.I will tell you how they had braved the attacks from all corners before finally bowing to pressure of 'strength in numbers'. your bonus episode will come your way tomorrow. I promise.

However today's wise words say that 'You should not boast about tomorrow for you do not know what a day like tomorrow will hold.'  hopefully we all live to read tomorrows post, that is my prayer for you. chao...
